Hoo Raa is a modern CBD brand targeting Gen-Z and Millennial audiences seeking lifestyle enhancements. My main responsibility was to expand their newly developed brand into their first e-commerce website, which would initially launch with a small product range.

We determined that Hoo Raa's main audience would predominantly consist of Gen-Z and Millennials. I explored the key factors that are paramount for this demographic when considering investing in a new brand.
Sustainability, authenticity, a robust brand identity, and a seamless digital user experience emerged as top priorities. Additionally, they seek a balance between product quality and affordability.

Given that Hoo Raa is a new CBD
e-commerce store, it was paramount to adhere to best practices to guarantee an intuitive and effective user experience.
Our focus centred on achieving clarity and simplicity in layout design, while prioritising essential elements such as product listings, navigation menus, and a streamlined checkout process.
Visual Design
Hoo Raa's brand is vibrant, distinctive, and bold. I chose a maximalist approach, using blocks of the color palette in the backgrounds to mirror the products themselves and pairing them with similarly toned photography.
The selected images are playful and subtly surreal, reflecting Hoo Raa's personality and tone of voice. I applied bold and large fonts to emphasise the messaging. The end result is a bold, confident, and memorable brand that should effectively capture and grow their audience.
